On the 31st of March 2015, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), through the principal, professor Enos Njeru,sent a delegation of Professors, lecturers and student leaders to Soka University to be part of a number of activities organised by the institution.
Also present were Dean Education. Professor Akala, Literature department chair. Dr. Masumi Odari, Assistant Dean of Students Kikuyu Campus. Susan Thuo, Mrs Anne Mwangi from the literature department, student leaders from NUARSA, ECOSA, NUJOSA and SONU.
The delegation was able to attend the annual Entrance ceremony and The Cherry Blossom festival that also celebrates the relationship between Japan and China.
Student interactions were also at it's peak with not only Japanese students but also from various other Nationalities.
This visit provided especially the student leaders with a platform to view leadership from a wider perspective and also borrow techniques that will better student lives back home.
