The purpose of the new found network is to research and disseminate ethical conservation practices that enhance the respect of human rights and promote heritage conservation. The network seeks to provide a forum for research for those involved in the study and practice of conservation in the fields of cultural and natural heritage.

As part of publicity activities meant to enhance enrolment for May and September 2013 intakes in Kisumu and Mombasa Campuses, and subsequent intakes, the Faculty organized an open day in Kisumu and Mombasa between 21st – 23rd March, 2013. The turnout was very encouraging.
In light of the growing necessity for efficient and effective communication in both local and international settings, the department of Communication Skills and Studies hereby proposes a degree course, Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science. It is against this backdrop that the Communication Skills and Studies Department is proposing a degree course in Communication Science, which is skills-based, market orented and industry driven. The course focuses on interpersonal, business, technological, academic and scientific communicaiton.
